Why I don't like IPO stocks?

A MD from AsiaFind contacted me that his friend made profits on RIVN (Rivian), an EV car maker that debuted on Nov 1 0, 20 21. He wanted me to trade RIVN. I refused and blocked him from contact me.

I have spent a thousand USD to learn how to read chart. The indicators RSI (Relative Strength Index), MACD, Slow STO (Stochastics), 50 and 200 days moving average, Double Tops, Double Lows, Head and Shoulders, Reversal Head and Shoulders, ... It takes time to show on the chart. I can't trade a stock that has not showing those indicators.

In the RIVN 12 trading days, those indicators don't appear on the chart. Take a look of RIVN chart that its RSI, MACD, Slow STO, are all blank. I can't predict the up or down. I don't want to trade nervously that I don't have any indicator. I don't care about the intro-day chart every minute. I use the daily chart for one year period. I am not a day-trader, but a swing trader. When RSI is green, I sold that stock, when RSI is pink, I bought gradually for a good stock.

Every stock can make you rich, every stock can make you loss.

Many people are impulsive to own IPO stocks such as COIN, HOOD, RIVN, DIDI, they should regret by now. RIVN reported its first earning and missed analyst's estimate. RIVN down below since its IPO debut.

Many Chinese put their bet on BABA, BIDU, DIDI, TCEHY, and many more, they bought more shares when the prices were going down. Their few shares won't save them. I don't look Chinese stocks because I don't trust CCP. CCP cover-up their crimes, atrocities, but I don't believe CCP. I trust Taiwanese-American's stocks, i.e. TSM, AMD and NVDA.

The airline company stocks are not on my watching list because those stocks are too risky on crushing, oil prices, employee on strike, and pandemic spreading.

I don't invest in Bitcoin or Cryptocurrencies. I feel they are "Tulip mania". I don't know their direction, up or down.

I am doing fine with my stock selection and took profits at high according to the charts.

I have said "Don't own Chinese stocks, own Taiwanese stocks". I am bilingual and know Xi's "One Belt, One Road" is a mistake, big loss. There are 54 countries in Africa and CCP bribed 53 Africa countries and only 1 country has diplomatic relationship with Taiwan. CCP used U.N. "one country, one vote" to bribe Africa countries to obtain their votes, so that CCP can control U.N.

Please Google the key words below to read the articles. I can't provide the website addresses because AsiaFind will delete them.

U.S. SEC mandates Chinese companies detail ownership structure, audits.

SEC moves step closer to delist Chinese companies in the US

My advice in previous blogs have predicted "Don't own Chinese stocks, own Taiwanese stocks". I don't lie. Not because I am a Taiwanese-American, but I knew CCP's atrocities. I posted so many blogs with photos to remind AsiaFind bloggers about CCP atrocities. I meant well to let Americans know be aware of CCP.

I sent that retired MD many times that NVDA charts, and TSLA charts and told him I could see these two stocks will break new high. Any stock broke new al*-time high means any price you bought now will be the winner. He won't listen to me but he believed his friend bought RIVN on the first day with day-trade, and 2nd day, and 3rd day, .... Look RIVN chart, the downward speed is fast too.

I don't trade IPO stocks, Chinese stocks, airline companies. Those stocks are not in my watching list. I like Trillion market-cap companies, AAPL, AMZN, GOOGL, MSFT, TSLA and Taiwanese-American stocks, i.e. AMD, NVDA and TSM because I trust those companies. Of course, I have loser stocks, i.e. ZM and PYPL that I am holding.
